Google OS announced: Taking on Windows

They won't be able to compete with Windows. REGARDLESS...

I hope they do well, regardless of the fact that I am a microsoft fan. Competition is always good for the consumer. On the other hand, I also hope that MS will grow their search business enough to be able to compete with google. Two equally sized giants in all fields is always better than each giant dominating one industry.

I have talked to a real living breathing MS employee over the phone. Find the one guy that can say that about Google, and you might just cross paths with Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. :D

so true, I talked to both Microsoft representatives and Yahoo representatives over the phone, multiple times. And I didn't even call them, they called me after opening support tickets. At microsoft's adcenter they even offered to assign me to a team of professionals who would help me optimize my ad campaigns. And my monthly spending is not that high either.

Absolutely amazing experience with support from both Yahoo and Microsoft

I would not never pay to use a google OS. If they offer a free computer and online access, I might think about it.

If they offer a free computer I might as well consider it ;)
