Pretty cool, now when you click on definition of the search subject, the links take you to Answers.com - no more dictionary.com

did google buy answers.com/gurunet.com or just enter into an agreement?

Still not sure why Google, simply doesn't link to -> Google -> define:[word here]

Interesting catch ... just to note that dictionary.com, answers.com, tfd, hyper, etc all use either Houghton Mifflin or WordNet as their primary sources anyway :)

i think the only time i was getting the dictionary.com returns was when i actually had the toolbar downloaded.. it wasn't visible, but when i did a definition in google that's when it went to dictionary.com... but when you said that I thought, I must be missing something and I found this:

Interesting... very interesting...
