I'm looking for a new GPS. My Magellan likes to lock up just north of Yeehaw Junction or Fort Myers (depending on where I am going to). Magellan suggested a firmware update. Well, I did that and it still locks up now Magellan refuses to even help me, even though I was still within the one year warranty.
I'm looking to spend less than $250 (so low end) but I see Best Buy has the Garmin Nuvi 200W and 250 both for $270.
There is also a TomTom for $170.
I'm looking for clear directions, fast rerouting (missed turns etc..), and one that does not like to lock up when I go from zone A to zone B. Points of interest are nice, the more the better (how often do you need a McDonalds while out?).
I'd prefer to spend as little as possible, $275 MAX but preferably under $200 (unfortunately I'm limited to Best Buy since all my gift cards are to there).
