If you haven't logged into Aftermarket.com recently, you may be in for a surprise. The platform has quietly undergone a complete redesign, and my overall impression is very positive.

The interface feels modern, polished, and much more intuitive than before. Several aspects of the UI and workflow seem inspired by Dan.com, and I think that's a good thing. Dan set the standard for simplicity and user experience in domain sales, and it's nice to see many of those ideas living on in the new Aftermarket platform.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Now for the part I don't like...

For me, the heart of Aftermarket.com wasn't just the marketplace; it was the Domain.io dashboard.

I gladly paid for Domain.io before it became part of Aftermarket. When those portfolio management tools were later made free, it only made a product I already loved even better. I used it constantly.

With the update, however, the Domain.io dashboard and its portfolio management features appear to be gone. I can't find them anywhere, and if they're truly gone, I'm genuinely disappointed. To me, this feels like the final death of what was an outstanding product.

So now I'm looking for a replacement.

For the time being, I'll probably go back to DNMIN.com. It allows up to 50 domains for free, with additional names available with a one-time "Buy Me a Coffee" contribution. It's a good service, but I still prefer Domain.io.

Overall, I think the relaunch is a major step forward for Aftermarket.com. Unfortunately, it also appears to mark the end of Domain.io, and for me that's a significant loss.

I'd be interested to hear what everyone else thinks. Have you tried the new platform? Do you also see the Dan.com influence? Has anyone found the old Domain.io tools, or are they truly gone? And if you're moving on from Domain.io, what are you using today to manage your portfolio?
