I got this and would like to know how to get rid of it.

If this is suspected spyware then goto download dot com and download spybot. This has always worked for me in the past.

Tried that - no use.. Found a lot and cleaned that but the acutal issue is not resolved.

Clean it from safe mode after turning off any backup software on your computer including microsoft's restore.
