It's not a made-up name. I'm sure he is referring to a site that would give you a live (or near live view) of expired names as they drop. A good name for such a service - should the technology be possible, however I am not sure how much providers of drop services are willing to pay for domain names.

I almost took one myself this morning, droplists.com (and I see some one took it later). I let it go because I didn't know enough about the value of such names to people in that field. There are people in that business on the board, so maybe they will chime in!

Yes, I was referring to the domain name to be used to provide lists of real-time expiring domains. I think it has potential.

Yup, thanks. I think I will develop it.

LiveDrop.com is a double edge sword IMO.

If you can actually develop a site that is better than what exists, you may have a major winner here.

But to publish "live" drop lists does not appeal to me at all. This is what I would like to see:

a "live" tool similar to URLbyuer's tool that can select based of number of words as well as letters, dates, etc.

a "live" tool that compares domain names to dictionary words (user definable),

a "live" tool that estimates on-hold time length based on registrar and possibly other factors (AI?) and finally,

a "live" tool that is scriptable

Anyway, its time to shuddup and go dream on in beddy.
