cold showers - depends on certain situations
Hot showers - twice a day (damn stink)

I took a bath with my father-in-law. hahaha dont freak out.
in japan, we take baths at hot spas. Sometimes with your co-workers and firends. No clothes! strange to take a bath with your father-in-law, but its a cultural thing. If you are lucky, you can take a bath with wild monkeys in Nagano! thats cool!

If you ever have an opportunity to go to an "onsen" (hot spa), you should. Its great for you spiritually and physically.

I find the whole concept mildly disturbing actually, bathing with my mother in law would be hideous

So Tanaka, you seem kind of low today. "Yeah, I took a bath with my Father in law, and accidentally got wood."

If someone felt offended for the question, guess what? You are not obligated to respond. So, just don't respond! Is it that hard to keep quiet?

Now, I'll tell you the truth. My real question was the second question: the French. I just tried to don't ask directly.

Recently, in my day job we had to work with a foreign consultant ... from France. He stayed in a fine hotel and we gave him a cubicle for work during non-meeting hours.

Everything was fine the day he arrived. Even the second ... :)
But the third something smelly was going on in his cubicle, and sitting next to him in meetings was not an easy task. :?:
The fourth day was definitely bad and people were skipping seats on the meeting room at both of his sides. :uhoh:
On friday, the smell was flying outside and getting in nearby cubicles. We decided to perform the final meeting in auditorium-sized room, so we can spread. :disappointed:
Thank god he left on the weekend.
It was the comment of the week! We could not just believe it. Here, people do shower every day. He clearly was not doing so. Worse, it seems he tried to cover the odor with parfum. No one dared to tell him.

Well, that's the story.
So, again, was this guy specially dirty/smelly? or is it all the people over there?

It's all your fault.

French people get use to take a shower with French water.
He can't take a shower with Mexican water but he did not want to make a request as he tried to be polite.

The smell was a strong signal and too bad you guys did not get it!

What !?
We sent him 5 gallons of Evian bottled water to his hotel everyday for that reason !!
May be it was not enough...

Is it true that in France (and some other European countries) they don't shower that often? :undecided:

I feel dirty when looking at your moustache avatar, shower needed just after that.
Otherwise, one a decade is ok.

Ps : quit the crack pipe.mobi

What's a shower? You mean the thing where you take off all your clothes and rub whale fat all over your body? Seems kinda weird to me. Then again, domainers are a weird bunch.

Oh, cool. Thanks for clarifying my suspects. :)
Now, we can forgive the guy as it is just part of his culture.
We are not that discriminating after all... ;)

Next time he comes, we're not getting him special, non-spicy food for him twice a day, every day, as we did.
As spicy food is just part of our culture, he should just get used to it, as we got used to his odor.
See !? Everybody's happy now !! yahooooooo!!
