how parked pages are indexed?

if i park a newly regged domain onto any of the standard parking sites, is the page indexed by search engine bots as it normally would be if i had a developed content site? normally for a site to be indexed requires that it be linked to from some other external site (unless you hand-submit of course)

i'm wondering because i was just reading the T. of S. for namedrive, and it says it only excepts traffic in the form of type-ins and existing search engine results. so if the name is newly regged, how does it get indexed so it comes up in a search for the keywords. does this make sense to ask this or am i way off in my thinking here? :?:

mainly wondering about how the site gets indexed so it is searchable for its keywords and if anyone can explain the process.

over time it may get indexed, depending on the keywords and relevancy of ads on the page.

I don't park domains. I always choose to develop them instead.

That's correct. If you have an older domain which was previously an established site with backlinks, you will find that the parked page is indexed because Google crawled the domain from other links. If you have a new domain name which you have parked, if you haven't promoted it at all how is Google or the other search engines meant to know you exist?

TOS says NO Links!.....direct type-in traffic only.....thats why those #$!#$ at NameDrive closed my acct...no warning....nothing.....like i committed 1st degree murder....straight to jail..........so.....now what?

I guess because they want better quality search engine traffic. Your only real option is development. Make the most of your type-in traffic and keep them coming back.

so then is the moral of the story to only park domains w/ direct nav traffic and/or existing backlinks?

leaving aside direct nav traffic, then wouldn't one only want to park pre-existing domains with backlinks, and not newly regged d.n.s'?

... from which follows, then shouldn't one only buy aftermarket names for parking, and only reg new domains that either have branding and/or development potential and not based on keywords, since the newly regged site will not be indexed.?

i am exploring the logic here. please let me know what you think.

when you park developed domains they usually lose rankings in google after some times and after that it's harder to get them back. So either park to get the revenue, or develop to something to get seo traffic

so....let me get this straight.......every single parked domain that exists in this world is all type-in traffic?....no links directing traffic to the parked domain.....because TOS of every parking company forbids in-coming links.......is this correct?

no, i dont think any of them would forbid incoming links. its just that newly regged domains have no incoming links. thus how do they get indexed, the original question. and if they don't get indexed because they have no existing inbound links then how can they be worth parking? (aside from direct nav traffic of course) seems a pretty simple question.

well...i had some names parked at NameDrive...and i had in-coming links to a few of these that were generating traffic and because of this they closed my acct....they told me no links as per TOS.....only type-in traffic......
