How to change my nick/login name ??

Is it possible/allowed to change my nick/login name ??

If yes, how can i do it...is it based on number of posts made in the forum by the member or should i have just contact the mds here requesting them to change that for me ??

Since the admin says, any such requests could be frowned upon at this stage...I'd better continue with my present nick/login.

NamePopper, i wish, i could follow your advice, but okay...
