How to make money on my portfolio?

I have about 60% of my names parked at Sedo. It gets anywhere from 500-800 type ins per month, basically, but doesnt make me much money.

There has got to be a better place to point these domains at that can make some better money. If not, Im just going to point them at my webstore, because the traffic is worth more to me than the parking profits.

take them somewhere else then.. there is other ppc companies such as domainsponsor, domainhop, fabulous, etc.

You need to experiment with other parking companies and work out which one is best for which name - it's a question of trial and error.

i wasnt thinking so much of another PPC company, as something completely different at which to point. Like a really great affiliate program, or something. I figure with up to 800 type ins per month, I am missing an opportunity. The CTR on this is pretty low and the payouts are small...so something where the payouts are high.

parking revenue cannot compare to developing the domain.

you can group some of the domain traffic into category then develop sites of those category.. point your traffic to the site. Plugin some affiliate or sell advertisement space

make one page websites with tags and everything else and submit them, the space and bandwidth will be nothing on a host

500 uniques per month = ~16/day. That's not a lot of traffic, so you shouldn't expect
a lot of money.

Unless these are prime categories (wireless, dish, etc) you shouldn't expect
to make decent $$ from THAT much traffic.

Like Mole said, you're best off developing the sites.

Until you get a chance to develop them (or whatever you decide) you should try Fabulous, TrafficZ, or any other company. With Rapid DNS you can quickly cut over to another company and see what happens to your traffic.

Actually IMO that is good compared to the average, as 5000 visits would equal about $160/day, which is very respectable and much better than most.

Right, $16/day on those visitors would be like gold. Not going to happen
though unless its super good traffic or unless its brought up to maybe
1500/day

Right, no I hear what you're saying, 500/month is the low, last month was over 800, for example. But yes, its not much traffic, comparatively.
