How to paste images into a post?

I am starting a new thread but cant seem to paste an image into it. How do you do that? Normal cut-and-paste does not seem to work. Nothing happens.

I could put a link to the .jpg but i would rather see it in the post.

Some sections of the forum dont allow pictures to be added. If you dont see the "Insert Image" icon, you likely cant add one.

+1 for what Raider said. In most of the forums here, the insert image option is not available (perhaps embedded links are not wanted)....

This is how:

Save the image on your computer. Upload it to any image hosting site such as http://imgur.com/ and embed it using [ img]link-to-image[/ img] (without the spaces) in the post.

i want to do this in the humor section. is it allowed in the humor section?

Make sure that the code is "ON" in the posting rules (located at the bottom of the forum) for the forum or sub-forum you are trying to post in.

[IMG] is "OFF" for the humor section
