I wish that i had known about this yesterday, it would have been cheaper to buy a Palm - Pilot than get the darn locksmith in to open a car that had it's keys and remote go missing.

 

the technique won't work for all cars - only those that don't use a rolling code and use IR. Don't go expecting to open a recent bmw or mercedes with a palm pilot
