How to stop domain parasites from itching you

(have been gone awhile, but have had a big issue with my 'basement makovever' gone sour. Enough of that, but here is my post)

As said above, been busy, but as of late I have been pestered and stalked for a domain name.

This simple one word dictionary is one I like.

But I get calls and calls from one individual, and only one responce to one email,..for a killing $200 offer.

I would field the calls, but they are on my wife's phone, and completely unnecessary considering the domain is listed at sedo.

I send an email to the person and suggest a better offer at sedo, considering the price range he is working in.

And I tell him under no uncertain terms to not call my wifes number ever again.
(I dont even know how he got it to be honest)

And shortly after the email, her phone rings once again with him on caller ID.

I mean, ....oh,...my,...god,..use sedo,..or offer me more than a rediculouse 200 bucks already.

And leave my wife alone !!

She is not one to be reconed with lol.



Point is, how can I get this clown to stop pestering.

Either accept the initial offer aint close and anty up,...or let it alone already.

I know it sounds like a joke, but I would be cautious, if I were you. Especially so if your wife is pretty lol.

I don't know the solution. Call a cop on him? Naw, that won't work.

Threaten to call is wife, just to get even? Won't work either lol.

What I'd do (sincerely), tell him straight out that you don't do business through personal phone. If he's interested, go to sedo.com.
End it there.

I would tell him a last time to either make an offer through Sedo or stop, and if he ever calls your wife again, you will NEVER sell the domain name to him and only sell the domain name for 100-times what the price is now.

Maybe then he will understand.

And lied about talking with my wife.

Told him no sale, leave me alone.

Told me he wanted to cover my expenses and losses. Whatta joke.

Normally would make sense,... but the drama this brings to me isnt worth it.
I will not deal with him. I would rather just keep it than worry about paying a 50 dollar commission to Sedo.

Easy - tell him to stop calling you. Document when you told him to stop calling you (and somehow show a phone log or your phone bill if it shows incoming #'s) and if he continues to call you that is considered harassment.

Post his phone number on an ebay auction with the title, "Free domains" please contact this number for further info. That should slow him down.
