Recently i lost access to my x.com account and it seems to be impossible to recover my account. The only method to verify is point the support to the 200M Twitter Leak and show the entry for my account. The Twitter Leak data show the number of followers, username and email associated and i have control over the email. (No phone number associated)

Will this method work?

If you still control the email, push that with support—it’s your best bet. The leak might help as extra proof, but Twitter support is hit or miss.

I have been in contact with X support using the email i registered. I use SSO Login with gmail and seems there is a method to change the recovery email on X. The email has changed and i'm stuck on this. A way to prove that i'm the owner is pointing my account in 200M Twitter Leak. The 200M data include username, number of followers and associated email.

Hi,Friend
To verify ownership of an X.com (formerly Twitter) account, you can try the following methods:

Official Verification (Blue Checkmark)

Subscribe to X Premium (formerly Twitter Blue) and complete the verification process (e.g., phone/email confirmation and payment).

This grants a blue checkmark, which may help establish authenticity.

Domain/Website Ownership

Link the account to a verified website (if you own a business/organization).

X may offer a gray checkmark for verified entities.

Contact X Support

Submit a request via X Help Center (help.twitter.com) with proof (e.g., government ID, business documents).

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) & Email/Phone

Ensure the account’s email/phone is under your control. 2FA adds an extra layer of confirmation.

Will it work?

For personal accounts: The blue checkmark (via X Premium) is the simplest way but doesn’t always prove identity.

For businesses/organizations: Linking a domain or contacting support with legal proof is more reliable.

For high-profile accounts (celebrities, brands), X may require direct outreach for confirmation.

this seems to be the main solution.

next > have you had a telephone number associated with this X account?

I got 1 support reply saying to use the recover you password link, didn't work as my account got hacked and my recovery email is in control of the hacker. Then trying to login with SSO it automatically create a new account that i'm using... https://x.com/Hacxx76012

I send a reply by email and the support said that an account exists (Hacxx76012) and should provide an alternative email. It isn't possible to me to give another email and i'm stuck at this point.

I’d say keep pushing with support, explain the hacker controls your recovery email, and ask for identity verification options—they can escalate it.

The hacker don't control my email, only the recovery email setup with x.com. Have send a new email to the support, waiting reply.
