Not complaining, just dont have a clue how I went from a couple thousand to a few thousand and recenty like 35,000 impressions per day on one of my videos. Anyone have any idea how this happened? I wish it would continue :ok:

Maybe someone on a popular forum saw one of your videos and linked it on the forum?

Check the backlinks - see where they're coming from.

how do you check the backlinks though?

Your hosting company should allow you access to reports. Just go to your control panel and check it - I know AwStats does it (but hositng companies use different programs).

No, I should have mentioned thats a youtube video. Only thing they give me is a graph showing the view counter.

Ah, then I don't think there's a way to check the backlinks.

How are you making revenue of of a YouTube video? (Ads in the video?)

yes google adsense and advertising on my channel.

Was it easy to get approved to Youtube partner program?

If you happen to have a link to TIME Magazine's Top 10 Viral Videos of the Year, then that may account for the spike.

I just saw one of those 10 being shown on CNN.

Go to your video page and click on "Statistics & Data" below your video, you will find 10 most recent traffic sources and some other interesting stats.

I dont see anything for traffic resources, they used to give you the who linked to your video data but all I'm getting now is charts with graphs for views. No link data or traffic resources from other urls. And its not from time magazine I checked that. The views clicks etc has slowed down a little, still above average so its all good (:

I signed in one day and there was a box on top of youtubes page, asking if I wanted to join the program because I had a "featured video" then I just linked my youtube and adsense accounts.
