"i" before "e" except after "c"

The rule in english is i before e except after c but does your opinion differ when it comes to domain names? Is it i before e or e before i?

The i stands mostly for internet and e for electronic? If you had a special name that had both the i and e available which would you get?

Exceptions definitely exist for "i," but "e" seems to outrank "i" almost every time by comparison. In some instances I would call it a tie. That's what ithink.

As for branding, here's my rule -- if the "word" is a verb or starts with an "e", use "i"; if it's a noun or starts with an "i", use "e". In English, "I" is a pronoun, so it makes more "logical" sense followed by a verb (a la iwon.com). Everything else sounds better with "e".

i have over 100 names each starting with 'e' and with 'i' and evenso personally i prefer 'e' in front of the name, 'i' names selling much better than 'e' names.
(at least on my sales record)
i had for excample 3 'i' name sales in the $ xxxx since oct last year ( & one that i am not allowed to talk about) not one 'e' sale in the price range - in 2 instantes the person bought a 'i' name ,where actually the 'e' in front works much better in my opinion - so i still hold on the the 'e's.
