I shot the Google Streetmaps Photographer!

The thread title makes it sound like you killed him. ;)

-=DCG=-

Yeah... I lot of photos of dolphins surfing and people get all excited when I post pictures on facebook and my status is "I shot 8 dolphins today, it was fun"!

But image if someone DID shoot this guy... there would be all kinds of pan-able photos of the killer making his approach!

If I didn't have a back injury right now I would have at least jumped on my bike and chased this guy down and make funny faces into the cameras.... or keep passing and stopping in various 'poses' so you would keep seeing me up and down the boardwalk!

If you saw him, he saw you - chances are you're on his camera. :)

For residential street view it would seem that Google edits out people. I wonder if they have developed software that does this automatically, or if it's a manual process.

This is awesome. Any sightings of the Bang Tricycle? :D

That is solid. Good catch.

LOL good stuff. That guy must get all the ladies

In his spare time, he sells popsicles out of that thing.

HI

LOL what is he going anyway.... for google..?

Tom

:drum:I shot the Google man. But I did not shoot the deputeee

I should build a similar looking triccycle with a fake camera setup with a "Yahoo Streetmaps" logo and peddle it around just to mess with people.

Wow, not even a moped/scooter... I guess even Google feels the economic crunch.

Well, it's been 2 weeks and as of today the Streetmaps still have nothing for the boardwalk. I guess it takes a long time to process and publish the data.

How about the Google icecream tricycle?
