I've met Sean and you're being blinded by the keyboard warrior effect. There is no "real" person in front of you to deliver an accurate statement, hence you resort to name-calling. I mean come on, for a Brit you come forth as lacking cool manners. I'd expect an "Alrighty old chap, sorry we could not agree on the price, toodles!" :D

That's all I'm getting at. Thank you for summing it up correctly for me :)

I'm just saying that if I don't want to budge on a price. I don't have to. And if I don't budge on price that doesn't mean I'm a douche bag. It just means I didn't budge on the price.

But just curious, William.....when is the last time you called someone a douchebag and they actually came down in price? Does that work often?
 
Can I just point out that although this 'Brit' is using a British address, it is the address of a mailbox company - essentially a PO Box. So for some reason William deems it necessary to hide his identity, and true address.

The phone number on contact for zujo.com is a thai extension. So by the looks of it, a Thai man is pretending to be Brit, lowballing people, and getting pissed without merit.

Only other point - us Brits don't use the phrase douche bag - we have better phrases with the same meaning ;)

It had nothing to do with agreeing on price. I did not like the way he conducted himself. I mean just look at his first reply to me. Then he tells me he wants an apology so we can discuss the domain, in response to me telling him $1k is too much, I give him the apology and he replies 'my price is $1k'. WTF is that? Did he really need me to apologize to him for him to tell me that? Just wasted my time when he knew I was not interested at that price. Passive aggressive bullshit because he was offended at me saying it was a low value domain.

I could really give two shits what any of you think. Maybe he is not a douche bag in real life, maybe he isn't even a douche bag to people when he responds to typical offers, but we all have our douche bag moments (obv myself included) and that was my impression after our brief interaction and after he followed it up with a series of ridiculous emails and threats and then this thread.

Listen, I think it's obvious that no one, including myself, has threatened you. So you can stop all of that in it's tracks right now. There was absolutely no reason for you to act the way you did. I appreciate the fact that "we all have our douche bag moments" but I didn't need for you to share your daily douchebag moment with me today. And for the next time you decide to share your douchebag moment with someone else...for the sake of anyone that you could ever possibly email....please don't.

It's easy to be "The Good Guy" when you're getting all the best names as signs of good will!!!! :) I want to be "The Good Guy" too!!!
 
Just my two baht: If you live in Thailand and plan on writing a blog critical of the king, I think that is a very bold idea.
