I just found out !!! Going to be a grandpa for the first time!! i just wanted to share this to my homies here on DNF

From a grandfather of 2 all I can tell you is that it is fantastic. Just remember though that the parents will do things differently to how you would do them, just as you did things different to how your parents would do them.

I really do wish you and the family all the best and joy in your grandchild. I bet you already are starting to think more long term than previously when considering plans - happens to us all.

My mother in law,... (bless her heart) ,... loves kids.

So she had three of them, one of which I married.

They grew up and had five more total.

Two of which grew up and had two so far.

Currently there are four generations of assorted children living there now. :lol:

And of course birthdays, anniversaries, christmastimes, weddings, the house stays pretty dang busy.

When we are there visiting, its like the Waltons.

It is worth all the fuss, big time.
