85% of the clicking on web ads is done by 8% of the people. In the past two years, the number of clicks has halved.
 
Thats 520 million people.

Agree, but I wonder about the source of the stats.

Also, did they discuss the number of PC's vs Mobile devices?

I was reading not too long ago about click through rates on mobile devices was beating expectations - especially location based targeting.

I am sure this was a huge push to convince Google to purchase AdMob.
 
I'm not sure about the source, but the qi 'elves' (www.qi.com) are usually very reliable with their facts.
No other info was posted about pcs and mobile devices, although I'm sure the number of clicks will increase this year, partly because of google and admob, also because of advances in technology of mobile browsers, and adverts in apps etc.
 
Basically any one that run a web site know what is an ad and what is not!
