internal page rank 5, front page page rank 3?

Why would I get this? I don't think my site is worth page rank 5 at all but if the internal get it why wouldn't the rest?

maybe more people are bookmarking and visiting and/or linking to your internal pages rather than the main page?

page rank means just that "page" rank, not site rank. Google views that page as more relavent to a search according to the content on that particular page.

This is/has been common for me to see throughout my sites.

Home page ranked less than the internal content rich pages.

yeah it just means that you have more links pointing to those pages, or links with high pr pointing to them.
