might not be posting this in the right forum.

as far as branding a domain with a unique name, how much should i be concerned with owning various international extentions (some of them)? anyone have insight on this? is it as simple, buy them if you want to prevent someone else from buying them? i think trademark might be an issue here.

Iwould only be concerned about the com, net, and org versions. Traffic to the ccTLDs will be negligible.

what about someone latching on to your domain and registering a ccTLD (misc country code) and promoting it in competitive way? i'm curious what people think about this.
