Perhaps someone can explain this to me:
Invalid name format.
Here is my concern:
I have had threads moved, closed, or received infractions for having a link (unintentional many times) because I would mention a site using the common structure domain.tld. This automatically converts to a .
That raises the prospect of not wanting to post links in titles as well in fear that I may be breaking some lose interpretation of the rules. Plus, if I post the full structure, that gets indexed in Google. I do not want some of these to get indexed as all of a sudden offers are made off the forum for ME to buy someone else's name.
So here are the two most recent threads closed for invalid title format:

invalid name format in title
Am I missing something?
Is there like total chaos and mass confusion created by these thread titles?
Put the domain name in the title! The domain name of the domain or website listed for sale must be included in the thread title. In the case of multiple domains it is required that at least one domain be included in the thread title. Threads may be closed if there's no domain in the title, however, you would be allowed to repost the thread on a subsequent day if this happens to your thread. Moderators may fix the thread title for you at their discretion if you are a new member or if it's a first offense, etc.
Can someone direct me to the rules as outlining Proper Title Formats?
Here is what I am seeing right now listed in titles for sale:

Again, where are the rules for proper formatting of titles? I would really love to see them.
Or is this, once more, a moderator(s) loose interpretation of what is and is not a proper format?
If so, I would like to ask them why they insist on disrupting commerce?
And, is this what we can expect by someone's loose interpretation of what is and what is not a geo domain?
Seriously, if you want me to play by the rules then fine. Show me the rules.
First, I have thread after thread after thread moved because it is in the wrong place.
Then I have thread after thread after thread closed because it contains self-promotion.
Then I get infractions for not posting things in the right place.
Now I am not using the proper format in Titles.
It must be time consuming for some to keep up with my whereabouts, threads, responses, threads I post in, threads I start, groups I am in, peoples' who side I take, etc.
Me thinks this is someone(s) attempt to drive me away. Truth be known, I might actually enjoy scraping of fingernails over a blackboard making the hair on the back of peoples' neck raise while they cringe.
The concern here is a disruption in services provided by the forum and a display of poor decision making on the part(s) of some. Honestly, I would rather post a sale once. I have better things to do. :asleep:
Again, show me the guidelines as to what is acceptable formatting for domains in titles.
