Funny memory of St Petersburg - the first day i arrive there, i go out to see the historical places and stop to take pictures of a few small bridges and buildings. I lean on the waterfront railing to take my first picture and wind up with black paint all over my white shirt. They dont use "Wet Paint" signs in St Petersburg much, i guess.

Funny you should say that Com because just today we went St Isaacs today and they were painting the fence and I saw a lady's coat get paint on it - no signs at all.
Everything is so cheap here! A 500 milliletre beer is about 40 cents US and food is cheap as! The hardest bit is ordering - I'm getting very good at pointing and saying Da! or Niet!
