So stuff and NameTower using Moniker. And I thought I was the only forum member who had made the switch.
I am now reging all my names through Moniker and their service/price/features are all awesome.

agreed.

Monte has been a pleasure and I definitely reccommend Moniker to everyone who doesnt need the eNom API.

Security and Support are 2 main reasons to switch over to Moniker.com

And with all the recent stolen domain names, I feel that safety and support are key.

And prices are very good too :)

... but that RGP is an ICANN thingy, and not even a registry-level decision.

I am not reffering to the fee. The $150 is fine, but having to fax them etc. I would like to be able ot do it online. Not sure how other reg's work though.

I have now consolidated my accounts down to 6 registrars (from 70) and have 3 enom reseller accounts. It seems that over the last 4 months I've seen the problems mount at enom and improvements made (with the new owner) at Netsol. The company that owns Register Fly and Dodora are complete nightmares. I have been fighting battles with both RegFly and Dodora for months on several hundred names. They supply false auth codes and tend to screw up on almost every paid service they provide. Their 24 hr "live" help is a joke, and I've gotten more promises that something has been "fixed" than I care to even think about. My asking them about the warning comments on DNF, DS and NP were met with "We don't know who they are" and "really, we don't give a damn". This was their actual response.

RegFly is a joke agreed.

"FlySupport" is an oxymoron.

Thats true

With Moniker, you have to buy 1,000 credits ($ 6,950) to get the
"right" price - $ 6.95.

And, if I am already there with Enom, why lay out the money.
And, take the risk that Moniker might change.

You say that, they will not change that fast. Look how fast Enom has
gone from "most favored" to "mediorce".

I still consider Enom my homebase.

If it wasn't for NW, Pool and SnapNames. I would only have one
registrar. Instead, I have accts scattered all over the place.

:) talk to monte.
trust me moniker's service is WORTH WHILE.

whenver I have a question. I get a quick reply and my problems are taken care of.

Can you say the same about enom?

I am a fan of enom

But the support is weak.

However for the most part, enom's system doesnt have many flaws :p

If I wasn't at moniker, I'd be at enom.

But since I made the switch I've been more than happy.
