is this famous typo successful ?!

i want to know from people who own domains like

wwwdomain.com
wwwyahoo.com.........etc ( without the dot )

has anyone had success with these kind of typos

and how much traffic it gets from the original website

lets say yahoo.com gets 11,000,000 hits per month how much traffic wwwyahoo.com is expected to get

also wwdomain.com and wdomain.com

i doubt it, i dont think ive personally made that typo in when typing in any domains...idk, maybe others have a different opinion.

Well here is a theory I have heard ... if the "read deal" .com of the www typo gets over 500 ovt with extension ... than the www typo "should" get traffic.

In your example ... if "domain.com" gets over 500 ovt results with ext, than the "wwwdomain.com" should get some traffic.

With that said, I expiremented with one that had over 2300 ovt results with ext on the "real deal" and reg'd the www typo to test.

In 6 days of stats the www typo has had 1 visitor ... so what i have seen so far does not pan out with the theory. It is not a "junk" name either.
