I tried to start a new thread and I get the error that I can only do so once every 24 hours. I haven't started any threads there in a long time. There seems to be a bug that uses the last post date to determine ability to start a thread or not.

That's something entirely different but I'm glad you mentioned it as well. I tried to rate a thread and it said I had voted already. Looks like an issue with the exclusives group :D We're special.

Edit: and oddly, this thread is now rated LOL

hey acro, maybe it's cos 'patty' is in the title ;)

I edited my post because I thought maybe I was suffering from sleep deprivation that night. I just voted on your thread. You can't vote now??

I'm not imagining things. I went to vote on another thread (that had stars) and it wouldn't let me vote.

Two birds with one stone :D

Oh. I guess I hijacked your thread, LOL. I didn't mean to!

To make it up to you, I tried to post in the Political section and wasn't blocked.

Hey Acro, don't be naive, this is a real conspiracy. No Liberals or Democrats are allowed to start any threads in the political section. The debates over with!

I tried to rate a thread and got the message that I already did that!
Which is not true.

There must be something wrong on the forum.

I dont think I've ever seen Acro start a political thread, It must be real important him. But considering the Dems have control of both the Legisitative and Executive branch, I cant imagine what it could be

I wanted to start the thread about the Semenya runner controversy there; ended up starting it in the Humor section :D But yes, there are two issues here - I can't start a thread in the Politics section and it tells me I've done so in the past 24 hours; plus I can't rate a thread that someone else has already rated.

Theo, If your in a hurry to get it posted, I or someone else can post it for you..... Let me know.

But the way I view it is that something is wrong with my account and needs to be resolved.

I see a 404 error.

Huh? I thought you guys knew? This is a new rule that's been added:

In an attempt to better manage the Political section as well as continue to have an area for members to discuss their political views, the following rules are now in place.

1. Only one thread creation per 24 hours!

2. Verbal attacks toward other members will result in the post(s) being deleted or the entire thread being closed at our discretion.

3. Continued abuse of these rules may result in user infractions and can lead to permanent banning.

4. Only those with less than 387 iTrader feedbacks can post. We doubt anyone will get that high, but thought it best to set an exact number to avoid any confusion.

We encourage intelligent debate and simply ask that you respect other members regardless of their views on a subject.

Posting in this subforum constitutes acceptance of the above rules.

:behindsofa:

I don't think any of those rules are relevant though to this case.

He's making a joke - look at his rule #4 and Acro's iTrader rating. :)

Acro - PM sent.
