I don't see any problems with that. People are too concern about privacy.

As a side benefit, maybe this new ID will reduce drivers and lessen the traffic in metro areas. it's just way too easy to get a driver license now

You won't be able to open a bank account and your ability to enter federal buildings will be restricted. All your vital info will be stored in a database. I don't have anything against ID's - in fact I had one (police issued ID) since I was 14. But it was plastic with no database linking. Now, this ID will be combining and tracing all of your financial activity, trips etc. Wave goodbye to the final remaining strands of privacy. It's the first step towards a real "Minority Report" society.

I'm with Radistar, I don't really have a problem with it.

In reality, no one should have anything to fear unless they are doing something dodgy. If anyone thinks that this information is not already readily available to most govt agencies if they wanted it, you're deluded
