Murray, whose Houston offices were searched, also admitted he had been giving Jackson 50 milligrams of propofol every night intravenously, the records obtained by the Los Angeles Times state.

The doctor claims he feared Jacko was getting hooked on the drug so he began lowering the dosage and mixing in other powerful sedatives like lorazepam and midazolam.

Two days before Jackson died June 25, all he gave the singer were the substitute sedatives, he insists.

But on the morning Jackson died, Murray told cops he tried again to get the singer to sleep without using propofol, the records state. Murray said on that fateful night he first gave Jackson valium at 1:30 a.m. When that didn't work, the doctor said he injected lorazepam intravenously at 2 a.m.

An hour later, Jackson was still awake so Murray said he gave him midazolam.

Still, Jackson could not sleep.

And over the next hours Murray said he plied the singer with various other sedatives.

Finally, at 10:40 a.m., and after Jackson insisted on the propofol, Murray said he caved and gave into the singer's demands.

And Jackson was doomed.

Has the death actually been ruled a homocide?

I know propofol was has been the cause of death, but was not aware that this was ruled a homocide.
 
yeah today, LA Coroner.
 
That's bad insomnia but the doc appears to be a moron.
 
yeah not good all around...seems likely they will charge him w/ manslaughter...obviously he should have chosen his oath over $ but who knows what the real situation was...

The word "homicide" does not have a specific legal meaning, apart from a death attributable to the action of another person.

In other words, this finding by the coroner simply means that it was not a death from natural causes.

Specifically what type of homicide is probable, is up to law enforcement to determine.

In other words, the term "homicide" encompasses the entire class of crimes defined as murder, manslaughter, etc., as well as non-criminal deaths caused by the action of another person.
 
I can not believe all the crap that doc was pumping into him. But it also demonstrates Jackson's addiction.

The more and more you take of anything the more tolerant you become to it so it is time to move on to something else. Junkies (yes, perhaps MJ was one) are some of the most difficult to sedate or knock out for any procedure.
 
Michael Jackson is not dead. He was spotted with Elvis at a retirement home in Florida.

Apart from the link posted in the 1st post, I have not seen anyone else blurting out HOMOCIDE!

-- At about 1:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson 10 mg of Valium.

-- At about 2 a.m., he injected Jackson with 2 mg of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan.

-- At about 3 a.m., Murray then administered 2 mg of the sedative Versed.

-- At about 5 a.m., he administered another 2 mg of Ativan.

-- At about 7:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson yet another 2 mg of Versed while monitoring him with a device that measured the oxygen saturation of his blood.

-- At about 10:40 a.m., "after repeated demands/requests from Jackson," Murray administered 25 mg of propofol, the document said.

"Jackson finally went to sleep and Murray stated that he remained monitoring him. After approximately 10 minutes, Murray stated he left Jackson's side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about two minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing," the affidavit said.

That doctor was either a Smooth Criminal or he really thought Micheal Jackson was Invincible.

Exactly.... It's going to be interesting to see what the DA charges him with, if he's charged at all.
