I think the mistake was in Adam asking for $1M with "other offers pending".

That sounds ridiculous, and just inspires WIPO action.

My bet is that a reasonable asking price--perhaps $100k or so--might have resulted in a great ROI and no need for the very able Mr. Berryhill.

Hey, add a $100k or $200k, but a million $ is clearly unrealisitic, or anything close to that. I personally would have been happy to pay $22k and get back $100k - $200k overnight, but hey

However, if you make a $1M sale to them now that you're in the driver's seat, my backseat driving will be just idle chatter. G/L

Excellent work. That would have been a huge blow to the domain community if it would have gone the other way. It would have encouraged other companies to try their luck at getting other generic names.

yes very nice win, and now that the 'courts' have determined they are not 'entitled' to the domain, would be interested to know if they still persue it.

This caught my eye in the wipo email yesterday, and when I clicked it it said Adam Dicker, so I really wanted to read it.

Congrats that you won. There were some interesting issues in there, like when they said that the date they will use as a registration and use, for the case, is when you bought it. So the previous owner basicly is not counted in this, as having registered the domain?
