personally, I would not snap either one. especially afile.com, that one is worthless.

Snapnames will appreciate your donation to their Christmas party fund though! :) - and on the bright side you will almost certainly get the name.

Which are the names?

I missed seeing the names, but it looks as if one was afile.com. If this was mine I would use is as an index of archived internet file sites. Should be easy to set up, and would give it some value.

if afile is the best, then you must love throwing your money away.

But it seems like you took the names down in shame lol

Yes,

I took them down because evidently they SUCK! Evidently I suck at determining which names are good. :)

Thanks for the opinions.

It's a continual learning process (and unfortunately not a cheap one!)

Hey! don't feel too bad. I've bought a couple on the "spur" and
wasted some money, but I've also regged a few that have value
and made a few bucks in the process.
I've only been accumulating domains within the last seven months
and have made sales in that time period. Just be persistant and
determined.

If Snap fails to get a name they will let you transfer the Snap to another name. I wonder if they would let you transfer a Snap that has not been exercised to a different name? I haven't used them yet, so I don't know.

Sure thing, to my knowledge, you can point the snap to any name at anytime - just:

1) one domain per snap
2) lasts upto a year or to successful registration
