Every time I come across the Latona's banner, my browser freezes up for 30+ seconds and/or crashes. I'm running the most powerful VAIO on the market + Opera 10.51. Same thing happening in FF + IE.

Any suggestions?

Quit the forum.

Hahaha! :D

Was hoping for a technical solution, perhaps there is a way to disable it in Opera? Not real savvy with the inner workings of Opera...

The freeze ends when the last truck goes by.

Empty cache?

I am on FF and have no issue.

I'll switch to Opera and might even try Safari.

Plus, DO NOT SCROLL with the cursor in the middle of the page. That happened to me early on - some reason the cursor would stop on the ad, the page was not freezing.

Try that.

No problem with Opera here as well as Safari.

Is there a way to disable the flash plugin in Opera? Or perhaps if's trying to install the flash plugin? Or just try uninstalling flash player, see if that helps to at least isolate the problem.
