Dan is holding the sword, it's up to him I believe.

Agreed. Peace :)

What matters more is his thread at http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5598

Legally, he's in the clear. Ethically, he wasn't in the clear but he was trying his best.

About his age I posted this earlier: "16 year olds do not know how to negotiate. A 16 year old negotiating against some one who is a professional with years more experience (not to mention probably close to twice his age?) isn't exactly like a completely equal negotiation amongst adults.

You have to cut Dan some slack. It's obvious Dan's learned a lesson by now. He's going to remember this the next time he's in a situation like this and in my opinion he's already made an admirable attempt to assume responsibility by posting this thread."

Omni, think of yourself in his position at age 16. You probably would have pulled the same shenanigan by mistake. Cut him some slack.

About the mods knowing what they're doing. You're right. They're invaluable. I hope they give Dan another chance to prove himself. Dan still has to prove himself.

I suggest we move forward and let DAN decide the final direction of this forum.
