One would guess because someone is going to launch a medical reference site using domain hacks.

Hacks are actually becoming quite in demand, I recently turned down a low $xx,xxx for one of mine and I know other owners are receiving $x,xxx offers regularly, some sales also occuring, both public aand private.

@BILLBO I'm well aware of the demands of hacks so no promotion necessary. I've always been a big fan of hacks.... and yes, awesome returns... but I only posted 20 letters and up because 15 and up would have exceeded limits....

Pretty much anything above 15 letters were obscure medical terms and phrases. Majority of the domains registered with 2-6 letters were top notch if I may add. I just feel bad for the sorry bastards edging on extreme long tails. And no... a reference site is not being built up.

You don't see many hacks in the top sales lists, only once in a while.

We can also comment that so far this year there is only 1 non .com in the top 10 sales chart and can then say that .de and .co or .me don't cut it. We can't make volume and frequency interchangeable valuation.

imo

If you are trying to say that .COM is King -- I agree.
