Looking for a big nice .cvs data file pack

Is data-extractors the key here? I have been meaning to set up a directory site, just to get some experience in large-data-handling.

Its up and now i need data, i was thinking of trying the worlds cities, devided by Country as category, State as subcategory and the city name itself.

Any ideas?
