I thought it might be a fun and informative cultural exchange to share the main holidays from our different countries.

Here in the U.S. we are approaching our "holiday season". We celebrate Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday in November, Christmas on December 25, and New Year's Day on January 1.

What are some of the major holidays in other countries?

Is that like our 4th of July Independence Day in the US?

Oh yes! Labour day is a very popular public holiday here too for the "poor" proletarians.
