The next DNF Live Auction Sunday night (March 16) is shaping up to be a real killer. It's only Tuesday and there are already 133 listings - all but one of them starting at $1! Of course GregR is trying to steal the show with his twenty 3-letter .coms, but the crowd that will draw will benefit all of the sellers. Buyers should have a field day (or night in this case) too!

Incidently, the auction client seemed to work flawlessly last Sunday. It will really be put to the test this week!

Edit: 285 W  W

Hi there,

I've never seen a live DNF auction before (Firewall issues... ofcourse...) but I'm planning on visiting it this time...

Is it really so exciting? How many domains get sold? (And forget about the $4000 domains like THISISMYDOMAINBECAUSEALLTHEGOODONESWEREGONE.ORG. Just the GOOD domains...)

I'm not impressed with 20 listings per person..I can tell you upfront that all that will happen is diluted prices..

4-5 per person per week is more than enough..

It's not permanent.

I put a dozen in this week but would be happy with something like 5 a week. I'm sure GregR went to 20 in the short term to make sure the auction was loaded while it transitions to membership only status.

Okay,

I put in a few domains as well... Just to see how things work this first time.

It looks very interesting! Great list by the way!

what time (GMT) does it start?

It's almost 6 p.m. now here, EST. GMT would be +5 hours, or almost 11 p.m. GMT.
The auction begins at 8 p.m. EST (Sunday). That would be 1 a.m. GMT (late). Please double-check these figures.
Thanks ... see you then! :D
