I recently aquired this website at the end of January. The community is great and very active. This forum is huge, yet still has great potential for growth. I have just completed moving the website to a faster server, and implementing a new java irc chat, that allows members to chat in realtime on the website. I have also added a hack that is very spider friendly, that should provide more links indexed by search engines very soon.

I had plans to create a complete Matrix Merchandise store for the site, but currently do not have the time to devote to doing so. With the volunteer Administrator and Moderators, the site takes very little time to run, But I have decided to sell the website, so that I can devote more time to other projects that I am working on.

Website currently hosted on a dedicated server at ev1servers (rackshack). Hosting for the website is $9.95 per month for 50 Gb Bandwidth and 1000 Mb Storage. The New Owner can transfer the site to a new host, or continue with the current hosting plan.


Different radio and TV stations were calling inviting the previous owners for an interview. This forum was given everything it needed. Much time and money were invested in it, and now that it is mature, you have a chance to own it.

Alexa can easily be rigged to show a better ranking but what does it say if a site has a 2,500,000 ranking??? To me that means the site is worthless. I just wonder why under all the search engines this site is listed so poorly. How does anyone find the site?

Alexa ranking is very often misleading, IMO because of the fact that 95% or more of internet users don't use alexa's toolbar, and those that do are webmasters. Therefore a website dealing with a webmaster related subject will often have a higher alexa ranking than a site that gets much more traffic but is non-webmaster related.

For example:
Gallerys.org recieves over 30,000 unique visitors a month, yet it is ranked 1,843,698 by alexa.

DropWatch.com recieves maybe 1000 uniques a month and is ranked 366,475
by alexa

The site is well established and as stated ranked #1 on both yahoo and google for the term "Matrix Fan Club", and also recieves quite a bit of traffic from word of mouth and other matrix forums.
