You can buy/sell pre and after market, you just need an account that allows you direct access online. You would be a fool to buy on the news today though.

I need one of those. I guess Fidelity doesn't offer that. :sigh2::upset::disappointed:

Too bad most of the others require huge accounts or have huge comm fees.

I mentioned this in another thread that it was on the cards after Yahoo shedding off those extra staff. In my experience, companies tend to get rid of dead weight in order to make it look more attractive to potential buyers.

I only wish I bought more shares :-(

But you mentioned it in May 07, I mentioned it last night when shares were much cheaper :)

poker what acc do you use? im looking for some aswell - simple for newbies

My software shows heavy volume of selling currently. Expecting the Yahoo stock price to return to around $20 after noon.

A lot of money was just made.

That's what the stock market is all about.

good time to buy stock you think?

how about at a 20 limit

how about at a 20 limit

Well if you want to buy it on an unsolicited bid, the price is already baked in. If you want to buy it for $20, the deal would have to fall apart to get that price so either way it's not a good reason to buy the stock.

If this deal goes through, I bet that one drunk guy that manages MSN Live will have to start working 4+ hours day.

darn, I was wanting to buy some yahoo stock when it was in the $20 range, but waiting on another stock to sell first. I believe Yahoo owns 40% of Alibaba.com, a big chinese B2B and online auction company, which might be an overlooked asset of yahoo.

YHOO holds strong at $28.45

Microhoo to the rescue :)
