Imaginary in the eyes of the seller that is.
What happened, really did happen and it almost mimics what happens here now and then.
I buy a lot of products on Amazon and post quite a few reviews about products I actually purchase, Oddly, I received a letter from a distributor for a product I gave a negative review, it's a first... And I review at least a dozen products a month, most are favorable.
The product simply didn't live up to what was advertised and my review touched ONLY on the product itself, nothing was false or exaggerated.. Needless to say I was shocked when I read the letter that accused me of unfairly trashing their company and the people who work there, which I did NO such thing, it simply does NOT exist in my review.
On the surface one would think the person writing the letter is simply lying, but I've come to the conclusion that maybe he actually believes it, that when he was reading my review he took such great offense to someone insulting his product that he felt it was an attack on his company, But how is that my fault? If you cant objectively listen to what your customers have to say, how are you going to improve your product?. I wrote him back and asked him to please re-read my review, Have not heard back from him yet.
If only people like him would take a deep breath, Slooow down and comprehend what is actually written, maybe we can live a few years longer on this Earth.. And maybe prevent making a complete ass out of himself like another guy did in my recent political thread.
