Hi,

I'm trying very hard to contact a domain owner from Rangali Island, Maldives.

  • The website itself doesn't resolve.
  • Archive.org doesn't return anything helpful.
  • Number on WHOIS is invalid.
  • Countless emails sent to email address with no reply.
  • Reported invalid WHOIS several months ago but obviously the system doesn't work with no action taken by the registrant or the registrar.

If you have experience with a similar scenario, please feel free to PM me.

I'll make it worth your while if I do successfully acquire the domain.

Thank you.

Contact the registrar.

Tell them your interest in purchasing.

They can contact the owner (perhaps).

Technically (and legally) WHOIS data is supposed to be accurate and up-to-date.

Pay me a 25% finder's fee once you are successful in your acquisition.

I look forward to our long lasting working relationship where you pay me handsomely for advice anyone can dole out but I beat them to it so NAH, NAH-NAH-NAH, NAH.

Seriously, contact the registrar.

I charge 15%

I actually did contact the registrar regarding it but they never got back to me.

Perhaps I should give it a shot again.

Call them if you can.

If you have more to go on, like an address and personal name, you could try searching for other domains or websites associated with that information. Which then you might be able to discover other methods to contact the owner.
