I'm selling one of my humor sites, Neo4.com. The sale includes another domain, NeoPix.net. This site has a few pages that are linked back to Neo4.com.
The site is a Google PR5. It has been online for one year. The domains have a year left in the current registration. Total uniques is about 10,000 and page views about 80,000 per month. Income is currently about $140 per month form Adsense, Casale, and Fastclick.
Traffic comes almost entirely from search engines, external links, and bookmarks. I am not sending any traffic to it anymore.
An interesting wrinkle is that "neo4" gets over a million returned pages in Google, mainly for a motherboard named the K8N Neo4 Platinum from a company in Taiwan called MSI.
The site has been completely neglected for a year. I have not updated it at all. It desperately needs some work in that area.
Bottom line is you get about $1600 per year of income if you just leave it as is. That's a 16% annual return on your investment for doing essentially nothing (assuming you continue the same ad strategy I'm using). If you were to promote the site better, you should make significantly more.
