Hi there,
I'm selling a web site of mine, NeoNewsNow.com mainly because I don't have time to run it with the school starting and such. The site is big and gets about 6,000 unique hits per day.
An HTML version of AwStats from a few days can be found at: http://9spot.net/STATS/
Currently the site has a forum with very close to 5,500 members and 190,000 posts.
Costs:
The site doesn't cost much to run. The site uses a dedicated server (about $125/month), but not all of it, and a deal can be worked out with the hosting (probably for $50/month or so), and $8.00/year for the domain. Also included would be neonewsnow.net, and slorgs.com (two domains, both redirect to neonewsnow.com).
The site has a lot that can be done with it. The site's staff works for free, and I wouldn't mind sticking around for a bit to help run the site.
I recently put ads on the site (one Google ad per page), and made plenty to pay for the site, and additional ads could be put on for extra money.
Price:
I've been offered up to $4,500 so the buy it now price is $5,000.00 USD. I posted before and was offered $5,000, and we were going to go ahead, but the buyer didn't have time.
I've seen domains that have not had a web site on them for 9 months, and the people make $10/day just from parking it. NeoNewsNow gets traffic, and a lot of it.
I'd like to stick around for a bit after selling, and make sure everything goes well after the sale as well. I don't want my site turned into one with tons of ads (popups) or spyware.
