What are your experiences with type-ins for .net names? Specially interested to know if they do get type-ins when the .com version is very popular?

Thanks,

My personal experience is that if it's an excellent generic word, a .net domain name will get type-ins, but obviously not as many as its .com counterpart.

for type ins my domain mentor (he learned me a lot already) says .net is only good if it is related to a networking industry.

airnike... sorry i may have found a use for it myself rather than catching traffic, but i'll make the name known if i change my mind. I registered quite a few names lately so I have to be careful and not wave with my cc all over the net :D

cluelessdomainer: thanks for the contribution. This .net i was talking about is unfortunately not related to networking industry...
