they sure make it a real pain to transfer out of there.

its not been too bad but it was a full day and I was sent a note saying I was unable to trasfer out. So I called. They said I needed to send another email saying that yes indeed I wanted to transfer. I couldn't do this over the phone? They couldn't just send me the link? Not too bad yet, but of course its not done yet.

as long as its not to enom I've had 0 problems :)

droa resellers from the enom system so they wont allow easy transfers to enom.

Had massive problems to transfer one of my .us away from yahoo ( melbourne it ) took several weeks as yahoo was no help whatsoever and many emails with the registrar till I finally had it moved.
even got stupid questions as why i wanted to transfer it away.

I finally got them to approve it, but after they had already declined it. So now I assume I have to start from the beginning again.

I can sympathize. I am going through the same pains right now.

Most domainers learn the hard way the secret of how to transfer out of network solutions: Try and Try Again.

Most it ever took me was 14 - but I have heard to more trys. Had they refused the 14th I would have tried for the 15th time ;)
