It appears we now need an authorization code from the losing registrar to transfer out dot com and dot net domains.

Just thought I would pass this on.

Yes, it's been around for a couple of weeks now.

Well, I have transferred several dot com names in the past month, but today was the first time I was made aware of it.

Maybe not all registrars have caught up with this and there seem to be problems now.

Better allow extra time for transfers.
 
it's a big pain in the arse, but it will make things safer. Thanks for reminding us Susi, it had slipped my mind also. Pred
