I like the response box at the bottom, not the top!!!!!!!!!! It is beyond retarded to read a thread then scroll back to the top to respond.

Everything else looks ok except for the Quick Quotes(response) box, I'm getting a headache from constantly scrolling down just to read the posts.

The reply box should be returned to the very bottom. It feels strange at the top.

The extra "back to top" icon in each message is a bit annoying too -- causes extra space in each message, and ruins the aesthetics. One can easily get to the top of a page by hitting the "Home" key on the keyboard.

Same for Quick Edit -- it's not used often, and having a radio box in each of one's own messages ruins the aesthetics.

The box works at the top but only if you stand on your head while visiting the forum.

remove this box. Please

Quick edit = good
Back to top = helpful
Quick quotes = wrong place
Bank = interesting ... interest on my DNF$'s ... when can I use them to pay my Broadband charges?

:)

But where's my signature gone???

Please put this box back at the bottom, that's where it belongs (you want people to give a reply AFTER they have read the other messages, not BEFORE).

Also I don't like the Home icon, it simply doesn't make sense. It's much easier to use the keyboard.

Finally the Quickedit shouldn't be a radio button. This is against user interface conventions. A radio button is used to make one selection from a predefined set of options, not to initiate an action. If you want to introduce something like this function then simply make it a button near the regular edit button, that's the location and the form it should have.

Sorry to sound nagative, but in my opinion these changes really don't make sense. It looks as if the major reason for these was a programmer trying some fun things, instead of providing a better and clear interface for users.

Please put that response box back to where it was (the bottom).
