Noomle or Whypark???

The original question was

Should I give Noomle a shot? Is anyone happy with their service?

I answered the question by providing why I liked them and what problems I found with them.

I purposely avoided mentioning my experience with WhyPark or comparing one against the other because there are vested interests here. Whypark would not have been pleased with my comments.

Bad mouthing the opposition in an attempt to make your own company look good is just bad form.

In terms of revenue from my sites. I'm now earning 4.5 times as much with Noomle. That fact cannot be disputed, no matter how silly their name is!

personally id prefer noomle just because whypark is $100 upfront for 100 domains. for a start i dont have 100 domains and i also dont have $100 to spend upfront.

So obviously noomle is my choice for now until ive developed my own system around how i like to develop my own websites.

Really :?: Whypark is free for unlimited sites/domains (with an optional small monthly fee for premium features such as RSS and newsletters).

WhyPark no longer charge like this. As trader said, you can get premium features such as RSS and Newsletters for $25 a month.

In terms of branding, I absolutely disagree.

Just look at google, goo gle, goog le, go ogle. So not much there in a name either, but is now "600 pound gorrila of the web". Noomle has been steadily progressing.

I would never ever stay away just because of the name - in business keep your eyes open and you may find something which otherwise you would have missed and repented later.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't think Noomle has put in or will put in over $300 million in advertising their name "google" (which incidentally actually means something but spelled as "googol"). What does "noomle" mean, even spelled differently?

But I digress... how well does noomle provide you with relevant content? I'm not really familiar with it, but I'd like to see someone's example of a good website made with noomle.

Kellerman -- you stated it perfectly. Whypark provides the feeds of articles from hundreds of thousands of stories in their database, many that aren't regularly used, depending on your niche. Plus, WhyPark allows easy creation of custompages, which add a lot to mixing up content and preventing "content copy" webpages that SE's don't like.

It cracks me up when I see people posting about "gee, Whypark is just an RSS feed machine with duplicate content across the board" without stating whether they actually add their own original content to the site, like any normal "news feed" website (CNN.com, MSNBC.COM, ABC.com, etc) does. They MIX syndicated content with their own original content. So if you want a COMPLETE website, you need syndicated content relevant to your domain name, but you also need to spend a few hours or dollars getting 10 pages of totally original content too.

As far as directories for backlinks, go to DMOZ for sure, and then hire a good SEO guy to manage/teach you how to do basic SEO procedures. Probably cost you less than $500 for a good lesson and assistance to get started. Pay as you go. I recommend SEMPDX.org for finding the right person, smart, fair, dependable.

I'll be nice to you here and tell you the following:

L2 is NOT on the staff at Whypark.com. Since I was the VP of Business Development for Whypark, I can state this categorically. What L2 is, for your info, is a very smart guy who took the outstanding features that Whypark offers its users, and utilized them into powerful revenue generators for his niche of domains, which I believe has to do with "telepresence".

Telepresence has to do with 3D or holographic meeting services and products. I also buy domains in this genre, so I know how valuable his niche is.

Why don't you discuss what your disagreements or problems are with L2 here, or your problems with Whypark, so he, myself and others can answer them for you?

L2 did attack other companies while promoting whypark. It is not a good style of promotion /competition.

Noomle is new but doing very well. Many other companies are coming out. Good competition can make the progress of the industry. No need to bad mouth each other.

THanks for the kind words. L2 doesn't work for Whypark, but he's a respected member because he knows how to help other Whypark members increase their monetization on their domains parked at Whypark.

I have been researching it a bit and noomle does seem to be more recommend, although from what I can tell they are slightly different things depending on how you use them perhaps, correct me if I am wrong but why park is more automated i.e. scrapes feeds, ect, a bit more like an autoblog if you like and noomle requires manual work, I was wondering does noomle provide you with content? Also are there any other alternatives that are worth considering, I don’t suppose there is anything out there similar that allows you to use word press is there?

Noomle does require you to work on your sites, but it is very much worth it in the long run. If you want your sites to rank well, you need to work on them. Noomle will give you all the tools you need to keep your sites up and running smoothly.

If you are concerned about having original content, which you should be, you should consider writing your own articles or pay someone to do it for you. Getting content from an article library or directory may only provide you with duplicate content issues.

WhyPark is a LOT better than Noomle if it comes to that.

But Google started sandboxing domains without custom content at WhyPark, why we moved our sites out.

DevHub.com, SmartName.com and a few other mass development systems exist, not to mention hundreds of minisite developers including DNFs own minisite system and minisites.com but they are cost prohibitive for large portfolio development.

I have been using noomle more and more. I found it one of the best performers. I get article written and then posted on the website. My .info domains are now performing so well. I think noomle is clearly a winner. I had few domains at whypark but I moved them to noomle and I am happy that I did it. I have a websites with noomle with pagerank of 3, that is simply mind blowing.
