come 2008 those who can't hold or participate in discussion threads without attacking members personally, by taking about their family members, country, race, creed, color, ethic backgrounds or gender, will be tossed.

no if, ands, or butts about it.

this back and forth crap has to stop.

so if you guys/gals cannot bury the hatchet, then the hatchet will be used to cut-off your access.

tired of seeing some good posts go bad because a few members cannot exercise self-control and show respect, not only for the forum, but for their fellow members.

you have the right to agree or disagree with opinions, but not the right to insult or pick fights with other members.

you know who you are and regardless of how long you've been here or how many TR points you got....all that will be gone if you continue

I like how they do it at shanghaiexpat.com forums: there is a thread called "PIT" and all flamewars goes there. Is easy to move posts in Vbul and is better than everybody to be affraid to say something...
 
The best situation is to really, have a judge in here. And the judge will decides the solution to all unresolved forum sales after all the hearings, and the members must follow the judge fair decision or be banned temporarily or indefinitely.

it's not about being afraid to say something Denny, it's about controlling your urge to "press" other members buttons.

Member "hiOsilver" , who doesn't post here much, started a decent thread about "why rev is falling" and it got taken off-track because of personality conflicts.

Some members just don't value or treasure the resources available here to them, and they consistently abuse members with direct insults to antagonize and intimidate.

Threads like those which could possibly shed some light to those that "don't know", will never know, because the fullfillment of the topic is never realized.

I've never been one to bite my tongue, but I can express my opinions without talking about someone's mother or ethnic background to sway the topic off subject.

This type of crap has to stop.

I would have, and perhaps Administrators will.

However, I felt it's best to at least give notice of what's coming.

At least it may give some a chance to consider the big picture, rather than just their own world.

I know which thread you are talking about, that really did get out of hand. It is funny seeing old lads behaving like children but I agree it does make the forum appear unprofessional and we are here to learn and do business, not insult each other.

Well in the trhead was pretty much answered everything and it would die anyway. And we have no conflicts with Acro, just friendly and entertaining insult exchange.
 
In faceless forum mode, talk nasty about my mom and you get verbally lashed at. In real life, do this face to face and you will need a new jaw. That goes for Stuff.

Denny is a different basket case. But since this is not the place to argue, I shall leave it to the mods who had to clean up after his usual crap.
 
Those threads are educational......if someone starts attacking other people's mothers or religions, it should raise a red flag about whether to do business with them.

Give them a little bit of rope to hang themselves. :)

So if this is the issue - can we open own threads with only "bad posts", nothing get spoiled ?
I.e thread with subject "This thread will be full of insults, sensitive people please ignore it"...I am sure such thread would become the most popular thread in history of DNF
 
Since this is a "domain" forum, IMO the 'rules' should be limited to posts relating to domains and/or websites. If a post doesn't affect someone's sell or advertising $, then IMO it is ok. If a scam is brought to public knowledge, than even better.

However, whatever goes on in the "anything else" categories .. should be ok. For those that are easily offended or can not handle taking back what they try to give .. then they should stay out of those type of categories and stick to the business related forums.

This is a public forum, and these types of discussions happen all over the net. We should be adult enough to be able to make our own decisions in these regards.

Actually, no I don't. And last night (eastern US time) it was not you, it was Stuff that flamed the thread with mother references. However, what you did was typical flamebait crap; the very same kind that got you banned for 3/4 of a year in 2007.
