Overture(OVT) rank. Help! Please!

I simply don't understand. I type in the term addictivegame.com in the OVT search term bar and get this result:

I then type in the term addictive game and get this:

So I try addictive game.com and get:

Just so that I'm totally confused I try game.com:

1703 game.com
1020 game.com yahoo
786 game.com mafia
586 free game.com
550 addicting game.com

Can anyone tell me why I get so many different results although many of the terms I put in are almost the same? What are people searching for? What are they typing in? How do I know what the actuall .com name will get as far as traffic goes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
